My Experience
I always wanted to be a teacher. After completing my Honours Degree at Oxford and P.G.C.E. at Southampton University, I began my career in 1990 as a secondary school teacher. I taught French to children aged 11 to 16 in a Comprehensive School in England.
Since moving to Luxembourg with my family in 1997, I have been teaching English to children and adults from absolute beginner to advanced levels in France and in Luxembourg. During this time I taught English to BTS students in France for three years and then worked for over five years for Berlitz language School in Luxembourg before becoming a freelance teacher.
I’m currently working independently, as a professional, freelance English teacher for teenagers and for adults in their companies in Luxembourg and all over the world via Skype. In addition to teaching I’m also an examiner for Cambridge International Examinations board and I translate all kinds of documents from French to English and offer a proof reading service.
