This a short, intermediate level course, ideal if you need to make effective telephone calls in English in a business context. Telephoning in English can be difficult and sometimes stressful. The course helps you to acquire confidence in speaking in English on the telephone.


Unit 1: Telephoning basics, identifying yourself, getting through.

Unit 2: Exchanging and checking information, spelling over the phone.

Unit 3: Voicemail greetings, leaving and taking messages.

Unit 4: Making and confirming arrangements, times and dates, mobile phone calls.

Unit 5: Making and dealing with complaints, technical support, telephone customer care.

Unit 6: Making and reacting to proposals, reaching agreements.

 It is ideal as a stand-alone short course, or as a complement to a General Everyday English Course.
